Redwood Discovery Museum hosts first-ever adult night at the museum on October 16 – Redheaded Blackbelt

This is a press release from the Redwood Discovery Museum:

The Redwood Discovery Museum is thrilled to announce our very first Adult Night at the Museum!

Come let your inner child play! On Saturday October 16, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Discovery Museum will open its doors to adults only, upon presentation of an ID. Cocktails, desserts, music, artists, raffles, not to mention all our fun and interactive science exhibits will be available for an evening of entertainment to support a good cause.

This fundraiser is intended to support Discovery Museum programs, exhibit maintenance, and overhead costs as we emerge from the pandemic. Having been closed from March 2020 to August 2021, this important nonprofit has come too close to closing its doors for good after more than 25 years at Humboldt. Today we are delighted to be open to the public again! However, we need your help to get us back on our feet. That’s why we invite all kindhearted and Museum supporters to have a fun evening. Adults can play too!

This event is for people 21 and over. Due to the nature of the event, ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or positive antibody test will be required for entry. Masks should be worn at all times when you are not eating or drinking.

The cost of admission is $ 25 / person, $ 20 for members. Admission includes drinks, desserts and entertainment tickets.

Interested in sponsoring this fundraising event? Contributions of raffle items, drinks, desserts or monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Call the museum at (707) 443-9694, or email Stéphanie at [email protected].

We hope to see you there!
