SAN DIEGO (CNS) — Families in San Diego can enjoy half-price admission to more than 45 museums and other cultural attractions in February as part of Museum Month.
After a largely virtual event in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual countywide program is back.
“Museum Month is a great time to get out and experience something new in San Diego,” said Bob Lehman, executive director of the San Diego Museum Council. “Whether it’s exploring a new exhibit at a favorite museum or finding a hidden cultural gem for the first time, there’s a reason people look forward to Museum Month every year.”
There’s something for all ages and interests, including visual arts and design, kids and families, science and nature, history, wildlife, military, transportation, music and cultural heritage.
Museum Month passes are available for free at all Macy’s stores in San Diego County. Passes can also be picked up at more than 75 county public libraries.
Guests with a pass can bring up to three people for half-price admission to the entire party. Additional charges may apply for special exhibitions and events at participating museums.
