The Buffalo History Museum’s summer concert series, “Party on the Portico,” returns this Friday, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., headlined by the band Grosh.

Organizers said, “’Party on the Portico’ has been a staple summer celebration on the museum’s iconic portico overlooking Delaware Park and Mirror Lake for over a decade. The party starts outside with Grosh, who was just named Buffalo Spree’s Best Local Band, then continues at 8:30 p.m. with a DJ performance by DJ Cochise. Guests can explore museum exhibits, enjoy a free drink with their ticket, free snacks, dumplings for sale at Moneybags Dumplings, and much more.”

The series ends August 19 with Vitamin D and DJ Vinnie DeRosa.

“Party on the Portico” is a 21+ event that operates rain or shine. Tickets are $20 for the public ($10 for members) and can be purchased online at https://buffalohistory.org/event/party-on-the-portico/2022-07-15/ or at the door . For more information about the event, contact Membership and Events Coordinator Jenna Curran at 716-873-9644, ext. 318, or [email protected].
